OBS, Organisation Bretonne de Sélection, is a plant breeding company that selects high-performance vegetable species (cauliflower, onion, shallot, garlic, pumpkin, artichoke, etc.) that are perfectly suited to the needs of Breton farmers, the market and consumers.
From research to the marketing of seeds, OBS has chosen to control each stage in order to secure the supply of seeds. Research and development are at the heart of the company's activities, and seed quality is a strategic issue for which resources are deployed. In this context, we are looking for a trainee to support the work in progress.
Data compilation and analysis. Definition and implementation of a seed selection and quality protocol.
Level: Traineeship BAC + 4
In order to gain a better understanding of the factors involved, we are offering a training course which will involve :
As a member of the Terres et Cultures team, the trainee will work closely with the apprentice in charge of this area. He or she may also be required to take part in other activities involving the various vegetable species worked on by the company.
Duration: minimum 4 months, ideally from April to July
Remuneration in accordance with current regulations, i.e. €4.05 per hour.
