THE ARTICHOKE

OBS brings you two essential varieties of artichoke: Camus de Bretagne and Cardinal.

This artichoke is a deep, ashy green. The head is rounded and tightly packed, with short, broad scales. It is harvested from May to mid-November. It is the most widely grown variety in France.

This artichoke stands out for its beautiful purple colour and generous base. It has soft floral notes that are very appealing on the palate. With this award, OBS won the Sival d'argent 2015 in the Varietal Innovation category.

Thanks to the meristem culture technique, OBS obtains virus-free individuals in the laboratory.
